I'm heading South to see what I can see. I am leaving Fairbanks within the hour and heading towards Valdez via the Richardson and Delta-Paxson. I might make a go for Valdez or I might be turned around by the weather.
If I get to Valdez I'll probably eat there and admire the boats (the reason for my trip) and then probably take off.
I will get to Anchorage then, probably Friday or possibly Saturday. I have no idea what my plans are beyond this, and I will probably make it up as I go along. I won't have internet access so you guys have a great weekend, I'll post a few pictures here when I return.
Kent, Al, you guys know my cell phone number, you can drop me a text message. I'll have the phone off but I'll turn it on when I get gas probably. I don't even know if I'm going to stay the night in Anchorage proper and totally mooch some room and board, or if I'll pass straight through and head to Seward. (More boats). So I might randomly call Kent and see if anybody wants to meet to eat if nothing else. (Al, I lost your numbers when I changed phones.)
I just need to smell some ocean... 8) The rest is perks.
