I have a set of Bigshots that kept getting me in trouble with a Woburn cop near my work, so I took them off and went back to stock.

Now that my insurance totaled my bike, thanks to EVO CYCLE in Londonderry, I have no need.

They are free, but do have some scratches on the underside from when a Soccer Mom on a Cell Phone in an Expedition pulled out in front of me and I layed the bike down rather than crash into her. I probably won't be able to get to pics until this weekend, and since I hope to complete the purchase of my 2008 Titanium Wing tomorrow, I might be out riding! They were supposed to be installed with the quiet baffles, but I don't think the Honda dealer actually put them in. Most of you know the Bigshots do sound awesome on the 1300.

So drop me an email: dk_campbell@hotmail.com if you are interested.

I doubt anyone outside of New Hampshire looks at this, but I won't ship and I will donate the pipes to the person who can most easily get the pipes, not necessarily the first one to respond. That might sound unfair, but if there is someone in Derry who could pick them up tonight then I would do that before having someone North of the Notch try and come all the way down. It just makes more sense that way.

If I don't get any hits on this board in a day or two, I will throw it up on Mass and New England boards.

Are they currently still on the bike or are they off? If you do not get anyone else interested I have all of next week off and can easily meet you anywhere of your choosing to pick them up, or this weekend even.

They are indeed off the bike. A while back I went back to stock exhuast.

Tilton isn't that far - my in-laws live in Pittsburg, now that is what I call North.

I live in Derry just off exit 4. I am picking up the Wing today, so I might be doing a bit of riding. Time to get used to the new horse.

If you want to come down, either early morning (before 9:00) or evening (6:00 - 8:00) this weekend would work.

The Pipes are gone...as well as an extra clutch cable.

For those that have never had the pleasure, take a good look at your clutch cable before any long trips. They are an inexpensive item, but one you can't operate the motorcycle without. I took a 4000+ mile trip two season ago. Got home, went inside for some dinner, came back out to put the bike in the shed and pulled the clutch cable in and SNAP. After that, I ordered two, installed one and always packed one when on a roadtrip.

72 miles on the Wing. Took it into a parking lot to do slow turns, awkward stops, to get the hang of slow speed stuff. Man is the Wing FAST!

Thanks again VTX-NH, I will put good use to the bigshots and although I hope won't need the clutch cable, at least I will have one if I do need it. After I get my bike inspected on Monday I am going to look into putting the bigshots on, at least I won't have to worry until next years inspection.

Enjoy your new wing and don't forget to visit us from time to time. I think it would take me awhile to get used to not having a heel-toe shifter.

Thanks again!

I read a post when I first bought the X that the clutch cable guide is not quite in line with the cable and causes some extra wear and tear on the end by the engine case. I immediately bought a spare and keep it in my saddlebag. For about $10, it's good insurance.
