Where to go for my one week vacation?

Hey all,

Through the summer I'll be breaking in my new '07 1300s (and likely adding a Mustang seat). Work gets hectic during that time so I can't take time off. But come late September I have a week's vacation approved and would like some ideas on some good rides, as I am new to owning a motorcycle and haven't gone anywhere except the local roads here in central Oregon. My vacation begins 9/27 and ends 10/4, both starting and ending on a Saturday. I want to have that final Sunday to rest, relax, get ready for the new workweek. Any suggestions?

The coast roads are nice that time of year!! Either that, or the highways through the mountains around bend, sisters and south. Crater lake, diamond lake...etc.

I'm taking a ride to the redwoods in Calif later this month, all coast roads. It's a good ride, though tourists slow you down a little, but just don't get in a hurry.

We did a Crescent City/ Eureka run in July. It was COLD, the locals said September is the month to visit. Have fun!
