Another beautiful part of the country I'd love to check out on the bike. It's never near the same being trapped in a car. Looks like the weather was nice. Great pics! Thanks for sharing!

Bout the same... one truck at 10 mpg vs 3 bikes at 30-35... At least you can drive all night and day and night :roll: :lol:

Was that your first time down there Dan?

I hit the Dragon back in December of '06 on a rental Street Glide (brand spankin' new when they gave it to me). It was a frikkin blast, and I loved the looks of the guys at Smokey Mountain HD when I brought it back in the next day with 550 miles on it. I think I heard "Damn, where the Hell did you ride, boy?" more than once.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to do the Cherohala Skyway because there was snow on the road, LOL. I'm looking forward to getting back down through there in August. :D

Of course, I'm riding the whole way... :a13:
