Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality. I never did count the motorcycles but I would guess there were close to thirty bikes there. It was great meeting lots of folks for the first time and seeing so many of my old riding buddies was pretty wonderful too. I hope everyone enjoys lunch and has a safe trip home.

We were lucky. The group going back to the Tampa area rode about 20 extra miles but we were able to ride around the storm.
Betty and I had a wonderful time. Thanks Kevin and Darla. What a great bunch of people, we are glad to meet everyone.

Thanks to all for the hospitality, I was one of the new folks, and felt right at home.
Thanks to Kevin and Darla for sponsoring the event,
And thanks to Filo for leading us through Sandford and pointing us in the right direction.
Rode through a couple pretty hard downpours, but it is Florida!
Thanks again,
Walter

First and foremost THANK YOU Darla & Kevin. It was great to see and talk with you guys again.
Thanks to everyone else for a good time and good people.
Something truly odd happened on the way home: As most of you know when everyone left Tina and I broke off and headed the other way. We rode together until I4 where she went south and I continued east. Now I don't remember the last time I rode home from Kevin's dry. I always carry my rainsuit on that trip but today and riding with Raindancer I stayed dry!!!
Maybe she used all her magic on you guys but for once I escaped!

Thank's Kevin, Darla, for just a good time and having me and feeding me breakfast. Was cool to meet a bunch of the people that have helped me out and I have talked to on here. Lunch was a lot of fun. They must be used to Kevin showing up with all is wild friends and their burn outs in the parking lot. Maybe next time kevin will get rid of some more parts. (maybe some one will take the tripple trees next time) Will be looking for the next tech day. Some one said their would be meatball's at that one too. I feel for all the people that went the wrong way home, I took I-4 from lakeland and that little bit of a drizzle, a mile or so, left spots on my bike. . and my head being a little red. I heard some guy went I-4 home and would have done better with a boat, lol. Beside that If was a nice dry ride home. That was my first good ride since I got her running, and she is pretty close to perfect, thanks to all the help here. What a cool place you all have, love it out their. I was in hope that next time we would be having fresh beef for lunch. Darla was not so keen on that, and we all know about the goats, thank god for the meatballs. I was a little late getting home but it all worked out pretty good, Biff's was pretty good, no rain, but way hot didn't stay long was to hot and my head was a little burnt. Thank's again guy, lets do this again soon, Smitt

Hello all,
I had a great time at the tech session and made a huge score with the backrest! Thanks Kevin! I do have to say, it is nice to know there are still decent people in the world...for Kevin and Darla to open up their home and guys who had never met to work, sweat and burn their hands (smitty, lol) to help each other was f'in awesome. Now we just need to organize a group ride as large as that tech session and we're really in business

Well I had planned for the trip but issues got in the way for the trip.. Hopefully ill catch the next one.. like the pics...
My count was 28 bikes, that included the two Goldwings.
Glad to hear everyone make it home ok.
Rick
Thank you all for coming. Without ya'll, the "tech session" would be Kevin working on his bike. And what else is new? He's certainly not putting any chrome on my bike!
I was very happy to see we had no casualties on the dirt road coming in or leaving. Unfortunately, not everyone managed to avoid the sand. On the way home, when it was just Kevin & me, I hit the sugar sand a little too fast and down I went! Kevin made sure no sand got into the food we were taking home. Then he came over to help me up. I have a huge bruise on my left thigh, a small bruise on my right knee and a sore spot on my abdomen -- I guess I hit both sides of the handlebars! And, I am getting no sympathy from my husband! By the way, for those of you concerned, the bike is fine. (I realize how important bikes are to ya'll.) :) I'm not sure which comes first to Kevin, though -- food or his bike.
Thanks again everyone! I'm glad you had a good time!

Thats a cool pic of all the bikes lined up at the light !
Also thanks to Walter for helping me with my bike, and good interview on Ch13 news today buddy, I pointed at ya on the screen and yelled over to my wife, wait, thats the guy I just met and rode home with, and now he's on the news!

Great day!! If you were not able to attend you really missed out. Make sure you are there for the next one. I am a real novice when it come to wrenching on my bike. I learned so many things on Saturday that I would be able to help someome else out the next time. I had so many people helping me out not sure where to start but if you had a hand on helping me Thanks :beer3: Darla & Kevin thanks you so much for opening your house & property to us. Meet a lot of great people and look very forward to the next tech session & ride together. Glad everyone got home safe. A few of you got wet really wet. Thanks to I believe Russ and his wife for guiding us around that nasty rain. You know that rain hurts the heck out of Smitty's bald head. Kevin if you find a Hard Rock Las Vegas t shirt just put it to the side and I will get it next time. I felt like I was riding a wing home with new front and rear Progressive shocks & springs.

Kevin, Darla, wished I could have found the time to dropped a line before this. I went on my trip to Ohio, more on that later.
Now I see why so many people were bugging you about 'when you gonna have another tech session' What a fun day, yours & Darla hospitality is a inspiration. A Thank You shout out to Doug & Jason for doing my brake fluid. I was able to get my other fluids done before my trip (coolant & final drive)
Kevin I was jazzed that you liked the idea of a VTX picnic, Ft Desoto is the perfect location. I liked the idea of third week in January, one of the guys wife thinks weather is too iffy, March would be better ? Your thoughts?
Now, my big trip 1100+ miles each way, pushed it on way home & body paid for it for a few days felt like I got ran over by one of thoses many trucks I passed. I no doubt rode too fast, 80-85, 90 at times, Yikes!
Rode again after being home a couple of days, all I can say is I'm a changed rider, beside having her almost paid off I really feel like I own that bike now.....Life is Good
Glad everyone liked my meatballs, their my staple dish so if we have a picnic you'll eat'm again.
It was great meeting you all.....look forward to meeting up w/ ya'll again
Tracy
