My wife just told me Manchester PD is checking pipes on 8/16 from 10 to 1 at Manchester Harley Davidson if anybody is interested. I am going to go up just to see. Last time mine were checked they were right at a 106. I wanna see if there is any change since the pair valve removal cause it seems the sound from my pipes now are deeper and so blatty. Have not set off any car alarms since the change.

I too noticed that I don't set off any car alarms since doing the pair valve removal. I was good for 5 or 6 alarms just going cross town. I'll have to try to see if I can make it on the 15th just to check them out. Jeff, do they check them at idle or do they check them while throttling up?

they hold a rpm meter near the sprak plug wire, throttle it up a to a certain rpm and hold a decibel meter at a 45 degree angle and read it that way. My pipes were really high pitched poppin before the pair valve removal. I could set off car alarms wherever I went before. The hospital I work at part/time asked me to push it through the parking gagrage cause of what I did to car alarms. Then they moved the motorcycle parking to the main deck of the garage right by the entrance, atleast they did not ask me not to bring it to work.

Hey CaptDanbo: I can see that you're up to your old tricks. I seem to recall our youthful days when you had a certain Suzuki that used to make peoples' ears bleed as you drove by and drawing attention to another certain innocent sibling.

"That's my story Judge and I'm sticking to it."

Just wanted to post an update. For all who were there, we all know how attached Dan was to his matching orange inspection sticker.

You'll be happy to know that the Capt traded in his orange inspection sticker for a nice new, shiny blue one today. I know that the orange sticker was truly the crown jewel that made his orange X the fastest color. The blue one may slow him down just a bit. Now, if we can only find something that keeps him out of the dirt.

LOL - It was noticed, but I never thought to give him a hard time about it. Glad he came into the present day, therapy is working well for him!

Well, you weren't the only one who noticed. It was pretty funny when he pulled into Manchester Harley with the old sticker and the testing officer was blinded by it. "Oops" just didn't seem to fit.

Don't worry about giving him a hard time. Bring it on. Think of it as your duty. I do!

Hey guys......Don't you know I can hear you talking about me? Really....those voices are back in my head.
I gotta say though.....that blue sticker IS ugly, but I'm sure it won't take away from my orange X being the fastest motocross color.
