An hour or two getting use to the handling and aggressive counter steering (which I really enjoy) and you'll wonder what all the hub-bub is all about. I love mine and won't go back.

Thanks Russ, Dallas
Dallas, as long as you are running stock length rear shocks, you should have no problem with clearance. :orac: , BoBo, Russ, myself and Mick (I think) all cut the inner fender supports. I did mine because I lowered the rear of the bike, we/they did the others just to be safe.
Tros has the Potenza and we did not trim anything on his. You do not have to remove the final drive dust ring, although some claim it is easier. I haven't done it that way and have completed several DarkSide installations. Patience and having the bike jacked all the way up make a lot of difference. As far as handling, before the first 100 miles are over you'll forget it's any different than what it used to be. Watch out for uneven surfaces in parking lots/road construction etc. The car tire wants to stay horizontal when you are going straight, not a problem when turninig though. Enjoy 8) 8) 8) .
