Bikes, Blues and BBQ-- Fayetville Late September

Allright all you Arky X-ers...It's that time again. Bikes Blues and BBQ in fayetville. Last year I actually stayed in Eureka Springs and biked over each day for festivities. Eureka Springs is damn cool little hangout.. They were also having to Corvette gathering and the Kawasaki get ralley there so if you had the desire to ride the new Kawa2000, you can test ride it...You can check out the festival at bikesbluesandbbq.org/...Thought it might be a good opportunity for the Arkansas X riders to all get together..It's an all bike type event and I saw lots of Hondas there last year..We could pick a day and all meet up somewhere and at least have some lunch or dinner or whatever...Also, the pig trail is right there. Any ideas on this subject???? Let's here some feedback. We also might have a guest from the California X-riders there with us! K-dog

It's Mike Berzerin.. Little Mickey...I figure if we can get a group together, we'd probably have a good portion on the Oklahoma X-riders too. With a little luck I will soon me working Mon-Fri with sat-sun off. (fingers crossed, as well as toes). So--I will be very interested in all these weekend rides I been missin....yeaaaaaah baby! k-dog

If you are coming in on 412, when you get to I-540 in Springdale, you turn north (the opposite direction of Fayetteville) go about 20 minutes to either exit 84 or 85.. You will know it when you see it.. Its off to the west..

That Dennys is just a suggestion.. For some of the guys riding in from the South, that will add another hour to their ride to B,B,BBQ..

If someone wants to meet further south, Perhaps at the Cracker Barrell at 412 and 540, let me know..

Almost everyone is probably coming from the South..I seem to remember a Dennys right there at the Univ of Arkansas exit..Can't remember the name of the road but it's just a couple of miles from Dickson St. How about that one???? :roll: k-dog

I'll ask her.. That sounds like a much better plan then having you guys ride all the way to Rogers, just to turn around and ride back to fayetteville..

Hey all riders from the south. As your coming into Fayettville headed north on 540, Take the Farmington / Hwy 62 Exit. Turn left and go back under 540 and Dennys is right there about 100 yards on the left . If you have ever gone to a Razorback game, it's the same exit. You just turn left instead of turning right toward the U of A. Mapquest says it's exit 62.

If anyone in the Bella Vista / Bentonville area wants to meet and ride down there in a group, propose a place and time and I will be there.
