Are any SC riders planning to go to Hals barbeque? I know its a wing event but it would be a good place to maybe meet n greet. I personally have purchased enough from direct line to enjoy a free meal. Just an idea and if anyone has another idea put it out there.

That would be an F4U, but I would aspire to fly a Super Corsair-LOL.
I just fly the real ones, i'm afraid all I would do is crash the little guys.

that's cool! best i ever did was a private when i was 16 flying cessna's and cherokee's. long time since i have done any real flying. i get to go up with a friend in a 182 occasionally. i fly my remotes off of his airstrip when i get to go which isn't as often as i would like anymore.

Do y'all want to do a meet & greet where we meet somewhere & eat & socialize or go for a day ride?

If you wanna do a day ride we could easily do Caesar's Head, Clayton GA, Highlands NC, Table Rock or anywhere else.

If you want to include some lower part of the state people, we could head towards Columbia, Lake Murray area? This wouldn't be bad if we go while its still chilly b/c we may run into snow in Highlands.

We could do both. Maybe meet up in Greenville or wherever for an early lunch, and then take off for a little ride. Caesar's Head is always a good option if we do it in the Upstate.
