Hill country ride in Semptember or October

Hey guys, some of the guys I ride with ride M109's and they are planning a hill country ride on the 109 board. I'm checking on the exact dates but right now it looks like Sep 18-19 or the 25-26th. Looking to see if any vtx'rs want to make the ride also.

OK I got the details on this ride. Going up Friday Oct 17th and coming back on Sunday the 19th. They have gotten a special rate with a hotel up there called the Whitten Inn. Some are camping at a campground close by and some staying at some other hotels. For those that are riding from Houston I will get meeting times ands places for Friday and Saturday. You can also check the details on the M109 Riders board for Texas.
I will copy the details and post them a little later. I am fairly new here and would love for some vtx riders to go along and meet some fellow vtx riders.

I have negotiated a price with the Whitten Inn in Kerrville for $59.00 per night. Regular rate is $89. You must request the "M109" Group to get this group rate.

We will meet at Cracker Barrel in Kerrville Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings @ 8am for breakfast and head out around 9am.

If anyone wants to leave the Houston area on Thursday October 16th, let me know as this is an option for me and a few others.

There is a great rest area on I-10 in Brookshire that would make a meeting place, for either Thursday or Friday. Plan on meeting either day around 9am.

I ride a 2007 VTX 1300R and will leave from
San Antonio. Actually leave from Helotes. I know
most all the roads in the Hill Country. Take
16 out of Helotes to Kerrville. Great scenic fun
ride.

Nate I live in cypress and will probably be leaving Thursday evening. If you want to leave Thursday evening with me and a friend we will be leaving around 7:30 from Barker Cypress and 290. There is a HEB on the corner we can meet.
