So there I was....
Riding with the blue nights , we rode into Albermarle and up to Mar Mountain. Beautiful day, great food, enjoying life. It was myself (6'4" 300 lbs.) another current Deputy (professional body builder) and two older retired guys. Myself and the body builder are up front when I look in my mirror and see an SUV coming up from behind REALLY quick. The tow older guys have time to move out of the way. So now the suv is between the two bikes up front and the two older guys in the rear. Well, I am tooling around at 50-55 m.p.h in a 55 m.p.h. zone when this guy starts beeping his horn at me. I try to pay no attention when he gets approx. 5 feet from the rear of my VTX. We are traveling 55 M.P.H now with this nut on my tail for about 5 miles. We finally get two a stop light when he pulls along side of me in a turning lane and says... You guys need to learn how to Fu**ing drive, I see your gun, why do you need that? are you a Pu**y? I then say no, I am a Sheriff Deputy... He says, thats even better you Fu**ing loosers, so I say, I am going to get your tag. He in return says Fu** you, what the Fu** are you going to do? Then the other Deputy, the body builder says we will see you again. I could not believe this guy sees my big a$$ on the back of a bike, with a gun, and decides to try and pick a fight. So the road rager then says Fu** you and peels off. SOOOOOOO, When I got back to work on Mondau night, I ran the tag number which came back to a female. I then ran the females last name on whitepages.com and got a males name that matched the adress on the tag number. I then figure, with this kind of attitude he may have been arrested in the past. I check local counties and to my surprise, he had been arrested two years ago for failing to stop for blue lights and siren. Well, I showed up on his door step the next night with 4 other deputies with a warrant for careless and reckless driving and disturbing the peace. He could not believe it. I kind of felt like it was a win for the good guys. Too many times we have to just take the way these idiots drive and this time we were able to do something about it. Thought I would share.
