PCIII Info wanted

I have a brand new PCII that I've never installed. I hear pros and cons about these things. I'd like to hear your opinions too

My PC11 was put on when I bought it from Smokey Pt. When Jon and I were doing the desmog he found the wire messed up. He redone and soddered it up and It has been great. This is the only way you can get hooked up to a computor and have the A/F grafts fine tuned! Had that checked and adjusted a couple years ago and I feel I get great performance and fuel economy! I still think I have the dyno graft somewhere? Call me if you want more info? Good luck, Ed1947 8)

Bought my X used with a PCIII installed. Mileage sucked and the bike didn't idle well. Most likely wasn't mapped correctly but....

Took it off....mileage jumped from a best of 36mpg to 44mpg. Have gotten 48 mpg.

Wanna buy a good used PCIII?

As everyone seen Saturday I took mine off mid ride due to perceived malfunction. My bike is still running good with it removed. I might get another someday :?

You forgot to add option 7. The I don't know what it is or what it does so don't know option. :wink:
That would have been the option I would have chosen.
