Hey Ted - My son came home this weekend with a 1999 800 Marauder. Really nice bike. I took it for a spin and it gets up and go's pretty well, it is a good bit faster and quicker than the 750 Shadow. It has Cobra pipes that shake the buildings, I cant believe how loud this thing is and it seems to rev up very quickly.

Anyway, my question is, do you know of any good online owners forums for that bike? And it is missing the owners manual and he would like to get one and maybe a service manual. I checked Ebay but nothing at all right now for that bike. I thought you might know of something or someone. THX rick

Hey Rick, this is Dan. I met you at the J&L bike night about a month ago. I had the silver vtx with the 240. Anyway, my first cruiser was a marauder and those guys mostly hang out at migcruisers.com Between my brother and our friends we have owned 4 marauders at different times! Great bikes! I thought I had some extra marauder stuff laying around, might have to take a look.

Rick,yeah,what he said about MIG.Nice group of guys and very knowledgable.I think I have my owners manual from my old 99 Marauder.After we get everything over to THIS side of the state I'll start digging around.
