vtx club in north alabama

why dont we try to form a vtx club in north alabama and southern tenneessee. i think that it would work or at lest make a run for it, if there was anyone interested in trying to do something like this i would be willing to put my time in and try to make something like this work but it would have to be a team efford and not let it all be put on one person. it could turn out and be a great thing for us in the north part of alabama and southern tennessee.

How many of us are there? I have an '04 1800N. But I'll be honest up front. I won't have a lot of time to devote to putting this together.

The Sonic in Madison on Wall Triana has a bike night on Thursdays. Big crowd and half priced food.

how many riders made it to bike night at sonics, i saw alot of vtx bike there but dont know if anyone was from this site. going to go again this thursday had a blast and saw lot of cool ideas, everyone should try to make it. hope to see yall there this thursday if so look me up ill be on a red 2003R maybe we can have a little chit chat on some neet things to do to our bike always looking for new and better things to do to it.

Was that your Retro in the front of the parking lot? I saw one over there obscured by some big van/suv. We won't make it this week, my wife wants to go somewhere nicer for our anniversary, but we'll be back on the 5th.

:D I think it would be great to see a VTX riders Club formed in North Alabama and Southern Tennessee. I just found out about the night at Sonic and have not had a chance to attend. I will be there this Thursday night. If I need to I will have make up a flyer about this site and wanting to start a riders club if you are truely interested in starting something.

i saw admiral up at sonics thursday and was a very nice fellow rider. we need to try and get more vtx rider up there to meet. we were out numbered by the hogs but the vtx riders that was there was a great group of people. so we need to try and get together on one of the thursday bike nights at sonics and meet. just post it and we can try to have our little vtx corner or something like that.

hey jhhunts there is a ride on the 21 of this month that crabs is getting together and as of today he said there are 15 to 20 people going and the number may go up. so if you want to go on a good ride that would e the one for you.

sorry didnt make it i had to work a little late to make some money for parts for the bike. ill see yall next week and by the way crabs ride is coming up in two weeks hope that everyone can try to make it so far he said that there were about 15 to 20 riders and that was 3 or 4 days ago so maybe there are more now. if you want more info look at his post in the alabama section under ride august 21 so lets all try to make it, it will be a blast.

The crowd was pretty small last night, maybe a 100 bikes or so, I guess a lot of people blew it off because of the weather, cold and threatning to rain. Kool 92-94 had their van there playing some music and then someone set up another sound system and started playing music so it got real loud. We had a pretty good selection of 1300s last night and talked to a few of them, but only a couple of 1800s. Fun time was had by all even if it was a little chilly.

I like the idea of a club meet at Sonic in Madison. I was there on the 5th and saw more X's than ever. I was the black one with V&H and Mustang seat. That was a nice bunch of people and most of us were mechanics so we all spoke the same language:)
Looking forward to next Thursday.

Come to the Sonic in Madison Al Thursday around 6:00 or so. We have a few guys there with 1800s but we need more..

Come down tomorrow. I'll be on the only black 1800C with a Cobra tachometer. We usually park on the right side as you turn into the parking lot.
You can expect between 200 and 300 bikes of all kinds to be there. Half price food as well.

i was wondering if anyone from huntsville area was going on the ride that crab is puting together next saturday (21) if so let me know and maybe we can get together in huntsville and go by crabs place on skyline to start it off. last time i talk to him he said there were around 15 to 20 bikes but that was about a week and a half ago so let get a good ride together on this one.

I was there, also. I have the '03 Titanium 1800R that was just over from 2fast4u. My middle daughter and I had a great time. There were a few VTX's that I saw (about 8). I liked the new V&H pipes. Folks have been super the last two weeks. Invited my new boss and his wife to show up and they came with their Harley Deuces...wow...There is always a lot of good ideas to see at the Sonic.

i still think we need to get together and do a ride even if its not a far one. the vtx rider are a great bunch of people and i think that we would have a great time if we didnt do anything but ride some where and grab a bite and show huntsville what a great group of bikes look like.
