What a beutiful moring it is. Was a chilly 29 deg at my place at a 7am with a heavy frost. Now the sun is showing it's brilliance radiating a warm touch to whoever is in it's path. So to all I wish a Good Morning and have a GREAT day. :D

You too Matt!
I got up this morning to make my ride to NAS Whidbey Island and it was brisk!!!! :o Just over 30 degrees on my way in!
Now I'm kinda wishing I didn't have to drill this weekend as it looks like it'll be a great weekend to be riding (even if it is a bit chilly!).
Have a great weekend y'all!

Top of the morning to you Top Sergeant! I hope a mind-clearing ride is in your immediate future. Very chilly, but sunny and clear, with no fog up this way.
Stay safe!

Good afternoon to you all!!! Now that its almost 2pm. Headed over to my parents house this am. Got up and one place said in Arlington it was 28. BBRRRR I told clint I think I need an early xmas present. One word, Gerbings!! I told him in the long run it would save us money if I get to ride more this winter instead of taking the Tahoe to work.
Have a great day guys. Its sunny and cool here in Selah.

Sgt. MacGyver, do you by chance know where I can get a Washington X-Rider patch like the one shown on your sig line? I saw that on a thread in the VTX Cafe and a guy had big one one the back of his vest. I emailed him to see if there were any more available and he didn't know who if anyone was still selling them.

I just emailed (this evening) a company that makes t-shirts with the logo to see if they could make patches. If they do I'll let ya know.

Cool, I'll get a T-shirt too. Hopefully they'll make some patches.
I do like the design of that logo.

Good morning to you all as well. Its nice and sunny outside but no riding again today for me. I hurt my back and I had to drive to work yesturday. They all asked me if I sick cuz I drove. Still hurts too much to put on the gear and can't get my right leg over the bike. That figures. I even have extra gas money.

Morning to you all! Been busy lately and haven't posted or visited much. But I still read posts most every day. Hope you all are having a good time out there. Kim and I are busy helping Kim's mom through her cancer treatments and just laying low to keep the wallet in check, so we won't be out much for a while. We're doing fine and we'll see you when we can.

Have fun in the chilly sunshine this weekend! I think I'll go outside and split some firewood while the dogs run around in the yard. Good exercise for us all!

Thank God I got there just in time. Matt didn't know I ordered new chrome wheels this morning and he was just about to mount the training wheels when I got there late today. We managed to get the front and rear wheels off - not as easy as you might think. So....no training wheels. With the new 240 coming, it'll just about stand up by itself.

Not sure I really need taining wheels, so I just ordered a Dunlop Elite 3 (240/40R 18). That should add a little more cornering ability as the stock Metzler 210 has a rather hard edge to it and in my humble opinion contributed to my laying the bike down to begin with. I leaned the bike so far that it just plain ran outta tire and down I went. I think the Dunlop 240 will be more rounded on the edges and add about 3/8" to the overall height (3/4" increase in overall diameter). That should, in theory add about 1 MPG - except that I'm adding some aerodynamic obstructions like a bigger windscreen, so it'll probably be a wash. We'll see after she's all back together and on the road.

So - it was a good morning and a pretty good afternoon, too :)

Go with what works for you and and hell with the rest.   "E3 rocks"

Todd

Well that's just me. :?

PiNkPaNtHeR

Todd - didn't you say thet the E3 has so much grip that you can't do burnouts now?
Wanna try my low profile Metzler 210 on your bike?
LOL

It would look cool, but it makes for a stiff ride & I wouldn't lean it too far if you know what I mean.
Might be good for a few fun burnouts, though.

Buy the way.......the Bridgestone is doing the same thing as the Dun-Pop so...........Blame the tire?????

Keevin,
E-3 on the front....bridgestone on the rear. 8)
