Starved Rock run yesterday

OK, so I get a couple of friends together to ride yesterday and we headed to the Shell station at Rt. 59 and Rt. 64 to hook up with Ernie's run to Byron, only nobody showed. So, we headed to Starved Rock instead and what a great run it was. Perfect day to ride, the fall colors providing great scenery and hundreds of bikes on the way to and at Starved Rock State Park. Been a long time since I've visited the park and the twisties the last few miles in on Rt. 71 were a blast. For everyone who got the chance to get out yesterday, hope your rides were just as enjoyable and that everyone made it where they were going and back safely.

There is nothing like sitting up on that overlook by the Lodge this time of year,and having a cold one with friends..

Ernie failed to get you over to my house which is another 30 seconds from there. I wish I had known. We 17 bikes and 22 people with us on that ride to Byron, it was awesome!!!! We did some backroads and we had a really good ride. I'm sorry it didn't work out but I will keep you in mind for the next time.........at least you got that bike out for a good run of your own!!!!!

SORRY ROCK & ROLL (STEVE) DIDNT SEE ANY POST I CALLED MARK AND ONLYVTX THEY WERE COMING ALSO BUT THEY WERE TIED UP REPLACING TIRES. IF I WOULD OF NONE YOU WERE GOING I WOULD OF STOP AT THE SHELL. MY FAULT GUYS

hahahah Ernie looks like little girl on his vtx avatar hahaha .........oh wait, its his daughter.....................dont feel bad about ernie being a no show, ive learned one thing over the last year and half, if you want ernie, go break down his door, BUT make sure his girl isnt there, i got a earload once. :evil: :evil:

Hey Wes, just an earful??? an understatement at best. Heck, after ya woke up the neighborhood with yer throttle revs, ya walked up to the front door and pounded ...NOT knocked, pounded, the door finally opened and I swore I saw satan with firing coming out of her mouth, blurting out every name in the book at you basically biting your entire head off with a lovely slamming of the door in your face :shock: :shock: :shock: Most definately, make sure Ernie's better half isn't home if you dare to stop by his crib. 8) :lol: 8)
