Nothing special to say or ask.
Bought my first bike 6 weeks ago. I'm 54 my kids are gone and my wife gave me the ok. The dumbest think I did was wait this long. I have just found my new hobby. Bought a 04 c with 1500 miles on it (mint) and I love it.
It's red with windshield, sissy bar. I've added bags and my mustang seat is on its way. Put on 1000 miles since I bought it.
I'm going to ride till the snow flys and then cry all winter.
Happy ridding to all of you and stay safe.

Hey Dan,
Sounds a lot like me. I rode smaller bikes, 125s, 250s, 350s, then quit for 21 years. After a cousin died of breast cancer 2 years ago, her brother and my brother talked about a ride, and invited me. Our kids are all out of the nest. I ended up buyng an 02 vtx R, had bags, windshield, backrest, 3" Hard Krome Long Shots, illusion blue, immaculate. I ended up putting a 4 piece ultimate seat, with new passenger and driver backrest, passenger floorboards. We made our first extended family trip which was great. It has gave my brother, cousin and nephews a new way to spend time with each other. Then my son ended up buying a motorcycle, that same fall. The next season my son and I rode to Monterey, CA, and home, 4,500 miles. It is a great hobby for him and I, and something we love to do. My wife isn't quite as crazy for it as me, but I expect we will try out a Goldwing some day, and that might help. As for me? I loved riding when I was younger, and now that I have more time, it is even better. I too, have found a new hobby, or shall I say a new passion that is also my hobby! Ride On!

Congrats and welcome! 8)
Watch the ice on the road, it can lead to creased seats or holes or worse!
