Would someone please help the rest of us and others by making a list of differences from the old site to the new one....i.e. Spellcheck,..direct link video..e.t.c.

I wanna know what I need to look for.

When you type a message there is a spell checker that comes up near the right upper side of the screen. You can download that program in less than a minute. It is a very small program but it works very well. After you download the program it will place a red line under misspelled words. Just right click on that word and it will give you a list of words to choose from.

I used to write everything with Word perfect and then copy and paste it over here. WP does have a 'grandma' checker... :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Thread subscription feature avlb below (not sure if this was there before - never noticed)
You can also rate a thread as you post (last option below when you are responding to a thread)
Don't forget a whole lot of formatting features like word (I just did these as numbered bullet points)
Also for the folks on dial up - you can now switch off pictures (sigs, avatars & images) from being displayed - so your download will be faster. Go to User CP->Edit Option->Thread Display Options->Post Visible Elements. Uncheck the one's you don't want. Another option to switch betw text view is to select "mobile" in the option at way bottom left.
The only feature I miss is the scrolling text....wait that was on the temp board :mrgreen:

Cyberhick set me up with the last site, and even though the dues SURE are high, VTXOA is worth it, and it was easy 'cuz it was AUTOMATIC! :yikes:

I disabled firefox just for the heck of it, I still get spell check so maybe for some of us its built in, cause nothing shows up , I was just being curious:mrgreen: theres so much new chit to learn.
