hey the wife works in a non profit rehab place in Atoka and we have talked about doing a poker run around lake sardis and wilburton and atoka area! it is all mountain and lake riding! all country stuff! but the proceeds should go to atoka rehab!&physc services! we would like to put one together ! but have no idea how to get there! mabe next year? we are interested in finding a ride or poker run ! in oklahoma or northern texas

Sorry, cant help you here! I have never been on a poker run in my life, and wouldn't know the first about them. Maybe someone who does will chime in here for you. Or just ask on the general board how to go about that. Good luck.

We keep an eye on www.tulsabikers.com (http://www.tulsabikers.com) on the events calendar, they have several poker runs and toy runs to join. We also make a coast to coast run every year and that run is listed on http://rftw.org southern route is the one we go on. It is a great way to acknowledge the vets out there, and the current active duty, and it is awesome to be in a pack of 500 + bikes running across the country.

we havent set a date yet but it will be happening in august to help out our rural fire dept. if anyone on this forum was there last year i assure you it will be way better this year we dont have a bunch of old ladys putting it together that dont know anything bout a motorcycle:bowdown::bowdown:

all sounds great but i am a little out of town! and will not be back till 10 aug ! ownt even be in usa till 4 aug! but if there is a set way that it works i would be interested in meeting you any way! i look in this forum daily!!thank you again!

ok sorry bout the wait guys we finally set a date for our poker run it is sept. 12 2009, at oakridge fire department outside of duncan ok, very nice ride through the wichita mountains, $20.00 for rider and $10.00 for passenger (that plays) $5.00 for extra hand, there is gonna be a bike show, auction, and a 50/50 drawing after the poker run: if yall need more info pm me and ill give you my number!!!!!!!!!!! hope some of yall can make it.....
