Hi all,
Just came across this new board. Here's a self intro.
Name's Dan, live in Moorhead grew up in Fargo. 54 and first time bike owner as of Aug.
Bought a 04 1300c, red. Had windshield, cobra pipes and backrest when I bought it. Have added a mustang seat (my tailbone was killing me on the factory). It's going to fun adding more acces during the winter.
I don't know why I waited this long befor buying my first bike? I have found my new favorite hobby!
I saw something interesting on the road last night. I posted it on the MN board, check it out.

Hi MN Dan,

I always had a bike, then went 21 years without one. 2 summers ago I bought an 02 1800 R, and I love it. It is my new hobby too. I have had opportunity to take a few long trips and lots of weekend trips. I'm planning to ride with a bunch of Methodists on a church camp ride, should actually get around Fargo this summer. I also hope to ride from Pierre to Bismarck and back, on both sides of the river, some time this summer, if I can work it in. It is a great hobby, even though my wife is not quite as excited about it as I am. You picked a good first bike.
