So it is a chopper according to Honda. Which is better than the hybrid idea that was floating around. But a fuel injected 1300 with a 200 rear tire? :dontknow:

Yea I just don't get it... its not really anything a whole lot better then our bikes:dontknow: Doesn't Honda listen?

A 240 rear would have been cool but what would the buyer do for mods then during the winter;)

I haven't given up on the bike yet. Holding out for pics. If it is decent and the price is right, the 1800 might still get kicked to the curb :D

I still find the entire concept of major manufacturers producing "choppers" to be laughable. It's not a chopper if it comes from Honda, HD, Suzy, Yamaha, etc.

But it is as close as one can get to a chopper that isn't limited to only riding it to and from shows

I must've been half asleep when the raider came out....I never realised it was a 113cui motor! :shock: Was trying to see how the specs on that compared to the fury specs.

pretty disappointing to me...the only thing that's 'new' or 'exciting' is a FI 1300 motor. everything else people are already doing on their own. and only a 200 rear is pretty shabby :?

Still waiting on pics, but a price tag of $12k MSRP isn't as bad as I thought it would be

Don't matter. Bike sales were down this year. Next year ... could be negative sales.

You sure bike sales were down? Most places said they had record years... If gas prices stay low you will be right. If they go up then bike sales will go up again...

Well I went over the articles again. The records sales are from scooters.
Street bikes sales grew but less than in previous years and they really dived at the end of the year.
While bike sales may have gone up in a response to gas prices people don't
customize 1800cc bikes to save money commuting to work. ;)

i turned my 06 honda vtx into a chopper.really looks better than hd.
