Due to my wreck tuesday, and current economic woes, I have decided to cut my old 82 interstate project loose.

I'll post better details if anyone shows interest.

It's an '82 GL1100 Interstate. Needs time (which I don't have). I got more than enough to complete this bike in parts, except for the pipes. Two saddles, one worn, one not. Trunk, bags, fairing. This was a project I'd been working on, but then came my first son, so less time, then a layoff, less money, then another son, a new job, a divorce, some school, a new VTX, and now a wreck. I just don't have the time for it anymore, and it'd take me forever to part it out on eBay. But that's where it'll all end up if I can't find someone who's interested.

If you SC guys could ask around it'd be appreciated.
Thanks.

I've got a buddy of mine that's been looking around for an old wing. I'll send him a link to this.

Sorry to hear about your wreck. Are you ok?

Update this a piece...

My dealing with insurance came out pretty good, although the bike still isn't back from the shop... I did just find a great deal on a decent set of used oem pipes for the Interstate, and I think I've decided to take my time on it and create a one of a kind Rat-Wing. Any suggestions welcome. I just decided that the original plans of restoring it to pristine would cost a lot more than making it a mechanically reliable beast that will bark at the moon.
