Hi,

I have several bikes but enjoy my VTX1300C for freeway riding. We ride about 250 - 400 miles per weekend. Cook's Corner, Hell's Kitchen, Pechanga, SD, Big Bear or the Pacific Ocean on hot days.

How about you? We need to put a group together.

I am new to the vtx site. I have had 15 or so motorcycles in 43 years (not counting dirt bikes). I currently have a Suzuki Bandit 1250s and just bought a 03 1800R I am real happy with so far. I take day rides almost every sat. Julian, Big Bear, Rock store etc. and longer trips with my wife now and then Santa Barbara, Sedona Vegas. I am retired and live in Laguna Beach always looking for people to ride with. I would also like to extend an invitation to VTX riders from out of town to stop by for a ride or an overnight rest. or call me if you have any trouble in or around OC CA. I will come and pick you up with my trailer and take you to a shop or my house for r&r

Yup, I'm in the OC too. In the fair city of Orange as a matter of fact. I just put a new rear tire on my 2005 VTX1300C and rode up Silverado Canyon for a test run. I just recently bought the bike with 10K miles on it and am doing a bunch of maintenance. Not sure what the previous owner did or didn't do, so I'm just going to do it all myself and be safe rather than sorry.

It sounds like captaindesmo wants to have a VTX BBQ at his place. Just saying.
