Is there an SAE plug on the VTX 1800? I was looking up cigarette lighter plugs and I come across these. Any imput???

If by SAE plug you mean one of these .....

There are none that I am aware of. When I installed a Battery Tender I had to install one of the above to the battery.
That being said .... if you need one on your bike a dealer that carries the Battery Tender should have them. Battery Tender sells replacements for less than $10.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE POLARITY IS CORRECT WHEN YOU DO ANY WIRING !!!!! Important to remember especially if the SAE cord has red and black leads. ( I made a custom cable for a specific use where the red and black were reversed.

any autoparts or Walmart store has these two prong power couplers, they also have four prong trailer lighting couplers.
