Mountain View - Weekend of August 7th

A buddie and myself will be riding to Mountain View. Will be there the night of August 6th and all day the 7th listening to the pickers and singers on the square.

If any VTX'ers are gonna be close by, give me a holler.

Pickin' and singin''''.........I might just have to ride on up there for that...any idea how far that is from Hot springs????Don't really matter....the longer the ride the better! K-dog

Hi K-Dog,

I don't really know how far it is from Hot Springs. I'm sure you could make an awesome ride of it though. Pretty much ALL roads leading into Mountain View are going to be scenic and twisty.

If you've never been there and you like bluegrass/folk type music, it's a must see. On some nights there will be some pretty amazing talent there, it's almost like a pickers Mecca.

Sorry Griz! I missed your post. Didn't have a chance to get back online before I left. Was a great weekend though! Matter of fact I came back through Hardy (via Calico Rock~Ash Flat). Was a GREAT ride Sunday morning.

The ride up on Friday was good too, we took highway 14 from Waldenburg all the way in, had my first chance to scrape my pegs on the VTX....almost soiled my pants when it happened too.

Dad was telling me about your bike, you've got it up to what ...2300 cc now?? holy catnip.
