OK,seriously,any state park would be cool,the places you named are good,there's also a pretty small one with a lake (not for swimming),named Bigelow Hollow,located in the NE corner of the state.Since we are going after the season is out,I don't see where one park is really any different from the rest,just my $.02,oh yeah, I mean nickel :lol:

I agree with Dave any state park is good. Beaches are good as well.

How about Sherwood Island State Park, Westport CT. It's right off I-95 exit 18.
