As for Price, it will come out as did the VTX when it was introduced. Some will pay full retail just to have the first ones. Then as time passes we will see how it holds it's value. Of course it will also depend on how many are produced. Look at how they did the RUNE

"Honda spokesman Bill Savino said the Fury will sell for about US$13,000, which is less than many choppers - high-end bikes geared toward motorcycle enthusiasts that can cost tens of thousands of dollars or more." "No one has ever made anything this affordable for that segment of the market," Savino said.

Should be $9198.

This is a Suzuki Savage fed some growth hormone--not a true chopper but a chopper-styled beginner bike. Current price of a new S40 (nee Savage) is $4599. This thing gives you double the motor, but sacrifices the Savage's commendably light weight (at 663lb wet with a mere 3.4G tank, the Fury is a lumbering lardass that only looks lean).

It might justify 2X the price of a Savage but not more.

That is what it should be since no engine development had to be made but they did add FI but still anything over $10k is too much imo. I am sure some people will leap at the first bikes out and pay full retail but when they stop selling or are selling to slow and Honda has built several thousand to many in 2011 the 2010 models will be on sale for $8k to get them moved.

With all the Hype and FanFare that Honda is doing, I'm sure they are going to price this way to high. Don't be surprised if it is around 13k.

If it is it will be a shame.

I hope so...

maybe I can get a new leftover fury for dirt cheap!!

If they price it cheap enough, I can justify another bike, if it's priced to high, I'll wait and get a leftover.

Either way works for me. :)

Raider 1800 vs the Fury 1300. Price should be relative to the VTX 1300 vs the VTX 1800.

IF it costs $12-$14K they didn't just take a page, they topped them.

The HD Nightster comes with less content than the now-dropped 1200 Roadster. Mechanically they're the same except the Roadster had dual front discs and a tach, the Nightster doesn't. You pay about $1K more just to get the Nightster's wicked chopperesque styling though I have to say they did a good job--you won't find bird-turd welding on it.

If a Fury costs $4K-$5K more than a VTX1300 that will be the priciest EFI of any vehicle that doesn't need a FAA license :!:

My guess is they will put it up for about $14,500, then when they got the surplus stock cause they charged too much and they're not selling you'll see them for 11,500 and lower.

Once again I'll say, if they price this bike above $10500.00 it'll be a flop. If they had added a 240 they could have asked for $1500-2000 maybe 2500 more and easily gotten it. Readers on this site alone would have made it a success. Just my .02

I seen the bike at the show and sat on it. The rep said 12,500 to 13,500 and next year there will be an 1800. He said they have a lot of 1300 motor parts that Honda wants to burn through. That's why they haven't released an 1800 yet. The bike is very nice but made over seas and the Victory Kingpin is the same price this year and waaaaaayyyyy nicer bike. I think I might get rid of my VTX because there gonna end up making them all over seas pretty soon. I hate to get rid of my X, I love it and I am finally almost done with it. But My Country Comes FIRST........I hope Honda will think that there gonna lose alot of true Americans if they start making our bikes over there....Thanks and I hope this doesn't affend anyone

Victory Kingpin
Suggested pricing starts at $14,999, which is $350 less than the Vegas. I had no problem finding $2000 worth of much-have additions and upgrades when I ran through the custom-order portion of Victory's site.

Although we don't know the Fury price yet...

IMO- the kingpin is likely to be at least $2000 more. 8)

I talked with the rep from Victory and he said that the suggested retail is a little over 14,500 but sales are way down and there gonna be running alot of promos. And that the bike tht I want the Victory Kingpin 8Ball with the pipes I want would be around 13,200 with the rebates. Honda Fury is coming stock for 12,500. The swing arm doesn't look like it can be modded for a 240 either. Although the stock rear can handle a 210 which is nice. But over all I think that it's nice bike but to pricey
