Hi all,
Just thought I'd share my recent experience. I just got home from the hospital yesterday after experiencing chest pain and numbness in both arms. I felt this on and off for about a week and thought I better go in and have it checked out. Turns out I failed a cardiac stress test and EKG's all showed abnormal results. A trip to the hospital resulted in three stents sp.. in my heart. One of my main arteries was almost blocked completely:shock:. The only thing that kept me from having open heart surgery was my age. I'm only 43!! I guess my point here is if you think something isn't right GO SEE YOUR DR!!! If I hadn't gone, Who know's? At least it's not riding season so I'm not missing much. Take Care and stay warm.

Hey Rick, glad all turned out well. Stints are a lot better than OHS.

Yep, start having that kind of pain and discomfort, dial 911. The sooner they can get to the blockages the better. We as men hate to get help.

Rick, I just read about your heart problem I'm hoping that all is well with you now, You are lucky that you went in when you did, I too had pains and ended up with a triple by pass and that went sour and I had to have a heart window done and a thorocotomy. the spelling isn't correct, any way I,m glad that you are doing well. now you have to watch what you eat and keep your colesteral at a safe level. We don't want to loose a brother like you------------ace

RICK

Sorry to hear about your trip to the hospital...... Man that sucks......

It sound like every thing went well. We hope ( June and I) hope your recovery will be short.

I have a friend that had the same problem just before Xmas. The only thing with Scott was that he made it a little late to the hospital and had about 45% heart damage. He is starting to feel much better and with some time he feels he will be better than he ever was.

Feel better Rick.
