Looking at the Honda spec sheets on their website I saw the following:
Fury 663 pounds wet
VTX1300C 2009 678 pounds wet
Thats only a difference of 15 pounds. Can somebody give me the source for the 100 pounds lighter comment about the Fury?

Hal, I think that poster thought a 1300 came in around 750 or so.

That came originally from swami, he has since gone back to edit his original 100 pounds less speculation and made it 30-40 pounds lighter now

Has anybody actually weighed a 1300. Seems a lot heavier than 678

I thought the dry weight on the VTX1300 was over 700.

I dont know about 100 pounds difference. I will say that the Fury seems very well balanced. It was very easy to get it off the kickstand. It probably rides really nice...
