After reading a lot of the posts that are here I think people are confused because of the word "CHOPPER". This isn't a chopper in the typical old-style version of a chopper. This is Honda's version of a 21st century chopper. Its modern looks are confused with the mental picture of what we think a chopper should look like. So try thinking about it without using the word chopper. Its really a VTX1300-21st century. Thats all. You can either like it or not but don't get hung up on the name.

"With a "full" line of accessories available from Honda the day it is released"

It should be dubbed a "Shopper"

I agree PRO-STREET would have been much better and more in line with where the motorcycle world is today.

Think about it. OCC suposedly builds "Choppers". Big Dog sells "Choppers".

Hal is right. The term "Chopper" was coined in the 70's as a morphed up "one-off" bike. As of late, the term has evolved to represent many others styles of bikes. If you can't figure that one out, well.......

Exactly, that is far from a chopper or even a 21st century chopper. It may be Japans thought on a chopper.

I would not even think of calling it a chopper, it will only upset many true American bikers!!!
