Man what the h3ll is wrond with those cats at Honda. First they bring out the DN-1 Mission to Mars looking monstrosity the supposed power cruiser, crossover, or what ever the h3ll, 14k for a 650cc are you kiding me. Then they come with this my first chopper looking contraption. The only good thing about it is the frame color match, and the wheels or pretty nice. Go on the website, Price: TBD. Those cats have really lost touch with their riders, JMHO.

Well see, there's the rub ... I'm pretty sure they introduced this thing to go after new customers. Not necessarily new riders, but new buyers who might otherwise be looking at something like the HD Rocker or Star Raider. To that end, they did a decent job, although a few years late to the party.

To your point though, they have been VERY slow to do anything to keep their current owners interested in staying loyal to the brand. Hopefully they'll take that new suspension and whatever they've done to the 1300 motor and put it into something truly attractive and desirable.

Pay close attention to the words you hear the Honda people speak.

The 1300cc Fury is the " FIRST IN A NEW LINE OF CRUISERS"

There is more to come and in fact perhaps this year.

Go look at that Honda Fury Interview on YouTube.

You will see, behind the Fury and the two people speaking two bikes UNDER COVERS so the Cameras could not photograph them.

New models? :dontknow:

Fury 1800? :dontknow:

Honda is doing new and exciting things to attract new customers.

I know what you mean. :yikes: At least its FI. maybe they should of thought about putting some more cc's in it. But then it might as well been a 1800 then. I've been a die-hard honda guy from the mid '80s. I had a interceptor 500, '84 VF1000F, CBR929RR, and now my X. I'm not sure what bike I would be in the market for next.....

Ditto that. Lucky for me I'm still infatuated with my X. I don't plan on being in the market again for another couple of years; we should have some idea of what's to follow on this new platform by then. I got nothing against 1300's ... I had one and it moved along just fine. If they come out with something that looks good, rides good, and has at least a little snap when you crack the wick, well, never say never.

Honda was ALWAYS slow to the market. Geez how long in the tooth was the Shadow line before the VTX finaly came out
