Nice write up. Here's a few of my comments after just installing mine.

As noted with V&H bigshots I did not have to loosen or remove the exhaust.
I had to loosen/remove the control rod connecting the pedel to the master cylinder to gain access to the bolt connecting main assembly to the frame mounting blocks.
The bolt & nylon nut that connects thru the shift rod linkage was so tight I thought it was going to snap at first. I'm guessing it was the chromed bolt.

The instruction and pics in the link above were a big help, just don't spend time looking for the block and banjo bolt... Just installed my new set of controls received from Troonsouth. There are some new design changes. The banjo bolt to attach the new brakeline to the master cylinder is now integral with the switch so don't look for separate parts. Where the switch and new line used to be joined at a new block mounted where the old one was removed, this is no longer the case. The new line attaches directly to the existing flare nut and line, and you just ziptie this connection to the old bracket on the frame - no block needed. It simplifies the assembly, but does leave you with the wires running free from the switch on the inside of the master cylinder. After I connected these to the old wires and tested the connection (you have to cut the wires running to the old switch to remove it) I covered the connection with shrink tubbing and then ziptied them to the brake line starting from the bottom up. From the old block location I just clipped the wires back into the clips on the frame down tubes and everything is neat again. Nice upgrade in the design.

Just to let you know if you have BUB'S you DO NOT have to remove the exhaust to install these. And thank you Vanillagorilla as the instructions / pictures were a big help. As soon as I get a chance I am going to update my sig pic.
