I'm currently in charge of hiring at my police agency. We are a 42 man department in Southwest Kansas. I'm am looking for 2-3 officers. Experienced and certified officers will be compensated appropriately, but non-experienced and non-certified people are also encouraged to apply.
We are currently paying non-certified offers with no expereince about 33,000 per year. Experienced and certified individuals will be at the Chief's discretion. It's pertty common in our agency for a 2nd or 3rd year officer to be making over $40,000.
