View Full Version : Lady Riders?
I am curious how many other lady VTX riders are out there. I would like to know what kind of ride you have and how you like it. This is my 3rd season riding (1st season VTX) and I only know of one other female rider - kind of sad isn't it? How many of you have a hard time with the clutch reach? My hands are not small (I'm 5'8") and I still had a slight problem getting used to the reach although I am ok with it now. Soon I hope to post a pic of my bike either here or on MIXRiders (or both). Would love to hear from you.

My wife almost bought one this year but decided to keep her Volusia for another year.
What kind of bike did you have for the first two years?

Sorry it took so long for me to reply, I spend most of my time reading the posts on the VTX 1300 riders Forum. I had a 750 Ace for the first 2 years but found it to be not enough power for e way riding (bike always felt like it was staining to keep up). Also, I happened to go look at a VTX1300 that a friend had put a deposit on and it was love at first site :D I had to have it.

My wife road a 750 before we got her this 1300 and she loves it. She rides with us everytime she gets. Hope to see you at some of the get togethers that we have now and then.

Hi
I have a VTX 1300 Retro and love it. I have been riding for about 8 years now. My first bike was a Honda VLX 600, then I had a Suzuki Intruder and now the VTX. It has become an obsession for me. Plus my husband has a Honda Rune, so we have a great time riding together. I actually see a lot of other women riders here in Michigan. I have several girl friends who have bikes also. Have a great day.

Marie, I like the look of your bags. Did you and Al paint them yourself?
Brenda is looking at getting the same bags and was wondering if you had them professionally painted.
