When looking at the Scala products that are available, should I be looking at the Scala Rider Q2 set instead of the Scala Rider Teamset. This will only be used for driver to passenger communication, but then again if the Rider Q2 is worth the extra money I am open to the idea. Any insight is greatly appreciated!!

Thank Radar,

I remember reading something about the Blue Ant once before and it is nice to see them getting good reviews. How do you actually talk to the other person? Do you need to push a button, or do you just talk and voice activation takes over?

The wife and I use the MotoComm Riderlink ST-1. It is a wired system, but works great. I did some research on the wireless vs wired and chose the wired, for several reasons: (1) you don't have to pair anything up(bluetooth) or worry about losing the pairing.(2) It uses standard batteries.(no having to charge batteries on long trips). Speakers and mic are mounted inside the helment.(no clip ons) (3) You can use mp3 player, cell phone, gps, and bike to bike.(4) voice is vox activated.(5) the price makes this an exellent deal.(aprox 180.00) It has a built in FM radio, but I don't think it is much punkin. We use a Sony Walk Man FM radio and plug it in the mp3 player output.

We ended up with the Blue Ant system. It is mounted on our full face HJC helmets. FYI, we are very happy with the Blue Ant system.
