My first thought was that Rick took pictures of him self and posted them on another site....:yikes: I covered my eyes when I clicked on the link.

I know.......sick ba#$%&rd for even looking with that thought in mind.

This is with any graphic you can come up with for the price, and he is in Everett, I ordered mine today and get to pick it up this weekend. It sounds like he can do anything a person would want to put on one.

Here is what he says off his website.

My custom speedometer faces are not paper decals that you overlay on your stock speedometer face. These speedometer faces are made of heat resistant Lexan and over sprayed with high gloss UV protectant that allows you to replace your entire speedometer face - and if you ever think of reselling your bike you can always replace the stock speedometer face. You can also always change your speedometer face as you desire. The process used for these speedometer faces also allow more light to shine through for better visibility at night. Speedometer faces are sprayed for UV protection to help reduce fading.

Thanks for the info Rib-Bone, I like the idea. And you guys know my bike always needs something else!

Just have to find the right pic!!!

Hey Folks - thought I would introduce myself - I'm the guy making the speedo faces.... I'm in Everett

Well – I’m a one man operation…. And this isn’t a business – just a sideline….(LOL)… I started out just trying to provide a neat cheap mod…. (and it helps pay for paint supplies)

Ya’ll VTX people sure have my busy of late (LOL) ......... a lot more work goes into these than people may realize

This is my process:
first the dials are scanned and a template is made – taken me 3 years to get the inventory I have of dial templates….
Graphics are done per customer per dial – each dial is a custom make (there are no dials just coming off the shelf)
– then after approval of the graphics - the design is printed on adhesive backed Poly film (I have to get this from China now – the only American distributor for it went out of business (LOL) –
It's over sprayed with high gloss UV protectant Clear Coat - cut out with a Razor knife – then trimmed with scissors -
mounted on Lexan ( I have a source of Lexan not open to the general public …very thin – very heat resistant….rated up to 1500 degrees)
– then a dremel router and Drill is used to drill the holes and trim the Lexan - cut out drilled and the edges are buffed with a 4 ˝ inch angle grinder with a paint stripping wheel
then the dial is inspected for defects – if bad – start over –
packaged in tissue paper and bubble mailer - ….. labels are printed with the postage over the computer with a computerized mailing system providing tracking and shipping information

I thank you for your business - I'm like a long tailed cat in a room full of rockers !

I finally found your forum - link was sent ot me by one of your members - Do any of you have any questions that I might be able to answer

Beast go the 1300 Riders forum and they have a great detail step by step and yes a few have broke the needle, but they have come up with some easy tools and methods. I am going to be putting mine on in a few days and will keep ya updated, looks easy even with my club fingers
