Road trip to the Dragon

left tuesday on the X to cruise the mountains, and visit family.
Had a great time. Rode solo since the few I ride with had to work or couldn't get time off.

Highly recommend Cherohala Skyway and 129 "The Dragon".
Good roads to give the vtx a work out.

No mechanical problems. 1236 miles in 3 days.

The Dragon is good for an adrenelin rush but the Cherohala Skyway has some great sweepers and beautiful views. Glad you had a good time.

That's a great place to ride, have been there twice this year. Planning on at least two more. I have been lucky enough to have been going there my whole life. My father was born there and was raised on those roads.

Wheres this Dragon place you speak of? Is it in Ohio, I'm in Akron close or not, I'd like to go.

The "Dragon" is US 129 between Tennessee and North Carolina, 318 curves in 11 miles most of them switchbacks. Here is more info
