I just bought my harbor freight trailer and do not like the red that it is currently painted. What is the best paint to get to cover that up?

Mine was purchased black and has silver sides the basic size was purfect. I went extreme and put a car top carrier on that no way i ever need that much gear. It pulled fine on my 4700 mile trip and 300 miles for Mardon. I came back from Mardon with my rear car tire a little low but the trailer was fine. I switch my trailer Tail lights off in the day time to save power and so people notice better when my brake lights come on. Jim

I have the same trailer . I painted it black with rustoleum spray cans. I assembled it and it wouldnt carry a ground so I ground and welded the seams. then i repainted the seams added a piece of aircraft aluminum cardboard stuff as a deck.I put on a swivel hitch and I extended the tongue to 52 inches so it would track good. you dont even know its there at speed you only notice it starting out and on a good hill, of coarse thats when Sandy loads it with everything but the kitchen sink( dont need one shortshifter has that in his)

I used the black Hammerite paint on mine. Has some texture and looks good. Used it on my final too.
