Well broke out for a ride today,a little chilly but welcomed all the same.Finally scratched that itch.First time out since Dec.Hopefully start of warmer days to come.I used seafoam for first time this year and bike ran great.
Last month I got my premium notice in mail from Progressive Ins.Rates went up almost 200.00.I called & asked why,I have been with them 4 or 5 years now.No accidents,moving violations,or parking tickets on bike or cage.The only explanation they gave was everyone in ILLINOIS was getting the increase.
I did my shopping,got quotes from everyone out there and went through Farmers Ins.Farmers ownes a company called Foremost.Foremost gets all motorcycle,rv,atv,policies.Anyhow my Farmers agent is 2 blocks from house & stands behind policy.Best of all I saved 164.00 a year,and got a better policy.

Will not get my insurance till july for the bikes so I don:t know yet about that bill. But my car and truck went up 100 dollars and state farm said the same thing there was an increase across the board in Illinois:mad:

American family was cheapest for me. Paying about 32-33 dollars a month. Thats for full coverage.

a lot of my family and myself are with farmer's. I must say that the couple times that I made a claim, once on the house and twice with the cars, they took really good care of me without any hesitation. of course, like most insurance your rates will go up after a claim but i didn't mind.

Thanks for the tip on the insurance. I haven't seen an increase yet on my progressive policy in Wisconsin, but wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come soon. I recently joined the VTXOA and T-dog suggested the Illinois board due to being a part of the "BorderCrossers".
