I'm looking for a full system to be able to talk to my wife with our half helmets on, listen to my I-Pod , and receive phone calls. GPS to my Garmin 350 would be nice, but not a necessity.

I currently run a fairing on my bike, and have the Sony MR501P marine radio, with I-pod connection.

I do ride with 1/2 helmets, and am concerned about wind noise etc when talking to my wife.

I just came from Bike Week, and the IMC systems seemed like a good deal, and look like they averaged around $200.00 as seen here:

The Scala Q2 is now being replaced with the G4, which has more features then the Q2, and also does bike to bike, if someone else has the system.
( Thats not important for me ). I think I would go with their team-speak system. Their system is $399.00 for the Q2, and the G4 is $244.00 a pc, so that would be $500.00 for 2 sets.

The J&M system seemed to run $700.00 , and $1,000.00 with the CB.

The Nolan N42 Helmets that we both use also, are 3/4 face with Shields, and the Nolan comms ran $735.00 installed at the show, and were BT

Nolan doesn't make a 1/2 helmet system, and for living in Florida, I can tell you after this week, the 3/4 helmet will be sitting on the shelf till next winter, so the Nolan Comms are outta the picture

Can you guys give me your inputs as to which systems your using, and pro's and con's of what your using and what to stay away from?

Also, the I-pod will be mounted in the trunk on my bike, and work with a separate remote, and same with the radio.

As for a wired or unwired system, either doesn't matter to me, I just want whats going to work the best and keep the budget under $400.00

Thanks !

Research the BlueAnt InterPhone. Newegg.com has them for $95 a unit shipped. They got a real good review at http://www.webbikeworld.com/.
