We will be there no matter what happens. Took the wife to Daytona on Thursday (her first bike week) and she loved it. She can't wait for Leesburg. See you there.

Well last year I was blessed to have made it to Leesburg. This year I will not make it. That was my first time in Leesburg, and this year was my first time in Daytona. Next year I will attend Leesburg. It is way better then Daytona will ever be.
I would just like to say I hope everyone has a great safe time in Leesburg this year.
Kevin good luck in the show. I think this year though I might give you a run for your money with all the improvements I have made on my bike. LOL J/K you would still win.

- Well I was looking forward to meet some of you in Daytona but a bad rear tire stopped me, I was not able to find a replacement on time. I'm back on the road and looking forward to Leesburg, this will be the first time up there. I hope to meet some of you.
I will be getting back from China on Thursday so I don't think I will make Friday, but plan to be there Saturday.

Dang that stinks it would have been nice to see ya'll again. Thanks for the compliment on my bike I have done so much to it, That is it though LOL thats what a say all the time. Maybe we all can go for a ride when I get home in May

Just can't afford the over night deal. All my over time is gone. But I missed last year and won't bemissing this. I think it the best one around, lot of people and stuff to see

Your a good guy, with Brynn comming with me, she would never go for it. Her moms sick and unless she can find some one to check on her it would't happen. And if I went now and stayed after asking her to go, I would never hear the end of it.

Weather co-operating, we, g/f and I,(2 bikes) will leave Hudson area Sat around 9 am. We'll take US41 north to SR44, or SR52 to US301 to SR44. We like taking occassional breaks, ride enjoyment, not a race. Not sure how long we'll stay. That afternoon we may go to Cedar Key with Marco and his company.

I'm gonna try to head that way, would love to find an available room to stay the night in but don't know if any are available.... Was at the Marriott at the Villages last year and had a blast.... Anyone know if there is room left there?

My wife and I are down here from Virginia. Some of the other Fla guys are meeting in Leesburg on Saturday at about noon. I'd like to meet up with your group too. Is rats hole a bar in Leesburg?
We are staying near Lady Lake so, we are not far.
Plan on heading down to the keys tomorrow and be back in time to make it on Saturday. Would love to take a ride with you all if you decide to head out somewhere.
I can be reached at 703-409-4600. I'm borrowing this 'puter but will check this thread Saturday morning at the latest.

Wife and I have to attend a funeral and then we are going to the Big Rig Truck show at the 75 Chrome Shop in Wildwood. Will be back in Leesburg by the afternoon.....I will post more this evening with some times and go from there. I hope to run into you guys this weekend.

We will try to be at the Rat Hole by 1 and then will go to the truck show.
Don't let Kevin mount your tire!!! He will talk your wife into calling and saying the the wheel is cracked and no one has another one....ha ha ha NOT! (And right before Leesburg! - 2 years ago.....). Actually he did a great job!
Just a quick note! We have room for campers/tents/whatever if you need a place to stay for Leesburg......

Leesburg was the first bike fest I've ever been to. WAY BIGGER than I ever imagined. It was like an ocean of bikes--and people. One big carnival, wall to wall people. Couldn't convince any friends to go, they all had excuses, but I'll go to others in the future. Does anybody know of any local events that are fun, but maybe not quite as big?
Also one drawback was in trying to identify other VTX owners by what they were wearing. Lots of Harley stuff, but had a lot of trouble spotting any Honda owners. Couldn't stay for the 1:00 bike show everyone was talking about, had other places I needed to be. I hope everyone had a good time.
