Hello Fellow Blue Knights,
I am writing to ask for your company and help with a fundraising event. On June 26, 27 & 28, I am participating in the Flying Horse Ride ‘Round Lake Erie, to raise awareness and funds for Flying Horse Farms (http://www.flyinghorsefarms.org/), a Paul Newman / Hole in the Wall inspired camp being built in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. The purpose of this camp is to help seriously ill children and their families trade the restraints of hospital visits, blood transfusions, chemotherapy treatments, overwhelming stress, worry and fear with days of swimming, fishing, horseback riding, and nights of campfires and singing! All camp activities are designed to allow campers to experience success no matter what their disease or disability. The camp will focus not only on activities, but also on building self-confidence, friendships and, of course, providing good old-fashioned fun at no cost to the campers or their families.
First, I would like you to join me on this ride. Registration and information can be found at http://www.flyinghorseride.com/ (http://www.flyinghorseride.com/). This is bound to be a fun ride and event and it would be great to ride with my fellow Blue Knights.
Second, I would like your help. For those who aren’t able to participate, please consider supporting my personal fundraising goal to raise $1,000.00 for this camp.
