Garmin zumo 660

Just wondering how many are going to buy the new zumo 660 when it's available or even pre-order one. I am also an AMA member and pre-ordered one and saved 20% on the 660 and the antenna for MSN Direct. I live in an area that has service and having the MSN available will be nice.

I have been using the Garmin Quest for years now and thought it time to update. Been looking at the zumo 550 but I already have an XM on the bike. Just as I was about to buy the 550 I read the 660 was about out. Well, it's about out again... 04/13/09 is the latest release date. Looking forward to installing the 660.

Just wondering who's gonna have one,

I have Zumo 550 plan on keeping it a while. Even just did the NuMaps lifetime update for it.

If I were in the marked for a new GPS I would give serious thought to the 660, but since I already have a 550 (just got it a couple of years ago), it suits my needs well enough not to move up at this time.

Yeah, I agree, if I had the 550 I wouldn't upgrade either. Just a few features that MAY make it worthwhile but still not financially worth it.

Lane assist (guides you to the proper lane for navigation):
3-D building view (displays buildings in 3-D (I read they actually look like the building???))
Where Am I? (find closest hospitals, police & gas stations, nearest address & intersection):
Stereo A2DP technology (if ya even needed it, someday all phones may use it and if you have helmet speakers that can take advantage of the stereo sound)
Speed limit indicator (displays speed limit for most major roads (If it's accurate???)):
Garmin Garage™ voices compatible (download custom voices and car-shaped icons to your device)

FWIW I have this on my NUVI 500 and have not seen it err yet.

any you guy online now can help my gps does not show the truck stops near my house and it also does not show a wal-mart near the house and a grocery one mile from the house its got the gas station right but not the store name if any of you would give me a call now at 601-278-9877 name is BOB I talk to garmin they told me that the one that does their map did not change the name of the store and ask why wal mart not show up they did not know so what do I need to do help

I agree 100%. I've been a member since 09/07 and have been lurking around reading about the zumo's. It has a lot of information!!! That's where I learned about the 20% off for AMA members at Garmin.

Thanks for the plug guys...Yep...there's more information than I can comprehend...but we do have some great experts over there. I hope to have a REVIEW MODEL of the Zumo 660 within the next couple of weeks....
