I ordered 2 keys from this guy and they were delivered cut and ready to use for $30. Steep. Two days later on a ride I had two more made for $2.00 at an Ace Hardware store in Fredericksberg,Tx.

This link is to a locksmith with many different Honda blanks. His prices are relatively high, but he can/will cut keys from the key code (you've got that written down somewhere, right?) My bike was at Corbin for 5 weeks and when I arrived to pick it up I found that they had lost my key. Being able to have keys cut from the key code was invaluable and only a locksmith can do that.

My local dealer can cut keys from a key code and has informed me that any Honda dealer should be able to also.

I wanted to comment to the many replies. First I posted this link because some of us have not been so lucky with Ace Hardware, Wal-Mart or the Honda dealers. I know when I went to the Honda dealer in the past the price of a key was very expensive. $30 bucks for a cut key when you can't find one is cheap.
This item if your on the unlucky side is expensive and obviously cheap if you can find someone to do it for $2.00
The idea here is that it's available if you choose to use the service for whatever the reason.

Wow! Has anyone ordered the blanks with the "simulated wood plastic heads"? ....and is there any law that requires a shag carpet install on your bike if you use them??
