Randy here, I live in Overland Park. I've only been riding for about 10 monthes. I bought a used 600 Shadow last October (my first bike ever). I put about 3000 miles on it thru the winter months I picked up my Rectro on Mothers Day weekend this year, and I just took it to the shop today for the 4000 mile service call. Boy am I having fun :D I miss her already :(http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/uploads/grayghost202_MPWOM.jpg

Scarecrow aka John Greene,

Glad to see a Kansas site. Since I frequent this board (VTXOA), it will be easier to see what is going on. Thanks cc for getting it done.

I ride an 02 1800S. I hope to have some new pics soon of my trip to East Tennessee and the Hoot.

Let's ride!

'03 1800C for me and an '04 1300C for the wife, both black.

Living in Overland Park. Been riding Hondas so long I can't remember when I started - if it's not an addiction I don't know what it is.

Hey Scarecrow, we rode down through Dorrance on old 40 weekend before last for a scenic drive through the old homestead, and ran into a green 1800C in Ellsworth. Friend of yours?

Nope, I haven't seen that one. Mine is ORANGE so you wouldn't have missed it either. Wish you had given me a shout and I'd have met up with you. But we'll hook up for the BFB run in September.

If anyone in the Wichita area is interested they can check out the local CMA site. We meet every Thursday night except the second week of each month at the north end of the Kmart parking lot on 47th street south and Broadway at 6:15 for a ride and dinner. Already two X-Riders in the group and all types of bikes are welcome. We have several lady riders too so ladies feel free to come out and ride with us!! On the second Thursday of the month we feed homeless kids in Wichita at a church near 135. Our website is www.jesus-team.com (http://www.jesus-team.com). We are just a bunch of people that like to get together and ride without a lot of the negative things that go with the 1% clubs out there. Anybody that wants more info can send me a private e-mail and I will be glad to share my phone number and any other information they would like. :) If you would like you can just use the site to see upcoming motorcycle events in the area!

Hey, Chris I love the CMA bunch I ride with some from this area a lot. One of my best friends of over 35yrs runs sound for a lot of there gatherings. The CMA has a yearly get together here in Winfield for the last three years had a small turn out this year but it did rain all weekend. I ride up to Cassoday with Tom Sweet and his bunch a few times a year so I'm at the water wagon visiting a lot.

Ditto to what cc said. We are planning on a get together the night before the Bikers for Babies run in KC. I did it last year and met a few of the KC area Xers. It was a great run for a worthy cause. Oh, it's on September 12 this year.

Also, there is a pretty active group in the MoKan riders, so check out their site (www.mokanxriders.com (http://www.mokanxriders.com))and join up.

C.C.,

With all the new VTX riders coming on board, any chance of a VTX gathering at the next Cassoday run (September 5th)? It is a good place fairly convenient to most of the states riders (yea, its 3+ hours for me but I may make it a weekend trip).

Just a thought.

Norman in Topeka. We have a fairly large group of VTX riders. An active group that rides far and wide.

Some of us are headed to Bikers, Blues & BBQ in Fayetville AR at the end of the month.

We usually go to Casady, we go early and late.

Hope to catch up with some of you.

KansasVTX,

We are planning on a VTX gathering at Cassoday at 10:30 AM at the gas station (in the parking lot) on the North side of town, near I-35. It would be great if your group could hook up with us there.
