New 1800 Owner

Hello Central Florida, My wife and I are new to the oralando area and also just bought a new 1800. We look forward to meeting and riding with other VTX owners. I would love to get involved and help out with group runs and poker runs. I was an event coordinator for the Jacksonville Performance Boat club and also Produced the Jacksonville Firefighters River Rally, Its now in its 4th year and is one of the souths largest poker run. I have a lot of friends and contacts who all love getting involved and enjoy riding just as much as all of us. I got out of boating and now Im excited about our 1800. Welcome to Orlando!!! I just got a brand new '03 VTX last Saturday actually. Got about 70 miles on it right now. Where in Orlando are you located? I've heard there is a thing at a Steak and Shake on 436 near Aloma on Thursday nights. 436 is also called Semoron Blvd in some parts. I'm thinking of going there this thursday.
Let me know if you'd want to meet up somewhere if you're not familiar with the area and we can ride there together.

We are working on getting a group together for Plant City Bike Night, this Saturday, 8/7. Bike nights all around the area:
Tuesday, Froggers in Ocoee
Thursday, Steak & Shake, 436 (Semoran) & Aloma
Thursday, Porkies in Apopka
Friday, 8 Seconds - downtown Orlando

I think there is also a Thursday night bike night in Old Town Kissimmee and one at Hooters on 436 - north of Aloma.
