I know no one within a couple/few hours of Buffalo has this part laying around, but I'm desperate enuf to ask anyway:
# 17525-mch-003
It's a preformed fuel return line w/ three 90 degree bends.
Mine's leaking and I while I can have one overnighted by sometime Saturday a.m., that won't be soon enuf to join the Saturday riding I had planned. I called every dealer within 60 miles and no one has.
Thanks!

i tried looking at the parts fische, but is that just a sold line with flare ends?? If so any 1/2 way decent repair shop, car or bike or whatever should be able to reproduce that fairly easily

I might have that part number wrong - I think it might be number 16 on the drawing, P/N 17680-MCV-R11
I probably can't be sure without actually removing it, since there's nothing on the fuel tank schematic that looks like what I'm looking at.

Is it like a brake line on a car? Kfc made one for me and I am sure you could get made as well....

No, it's rubber fuel line. Not being sure about what part #, I think I'll have to remove and then order it once I see exactly what it looks like - parts fiche just isn't helpful enough. Thanks.

whatever it is, I doubt it would be too difficult or recreate, maybe you can have the leaking part cut out and replaced with a new section till the OEM part comes in. hell some barbs. oversized fuel hose and 2 clamps might get ya by till replaced

I like those ideas!
Bill, I can't open my PM's from home for some reason   . I don't have a line like that laying around, but 'Dude might be on to something. As long as it is not the high pressure line, you can just make one to get you by. If it is the high pressure line, you still might be able to, just triple check to make sure it doesn't leak with the pump running. Just realized you wanted to ride TODAY, hope you get it put together :doorag: :doorag: :doorag: :doorag:.

UPDATE: After much deliberation, I took off work Friday with hopes of fixing so riding today would happen. With the help of you guys and the parts guy I decded that it might be repairable with a length of the right diameter fuel hose. So I bought about 18 inches to be sure I'd have enough. I drained and removed tank and, was able to wrestle the bad one out and make the new hose work. So riding today was on. Since I made it to Batavia and back without a hitch, I am declaring it a success - the repair and the ride!
Thanks!
