any of you kids ever ride route 554 south out of williamsport? looks good on the map.

I live in Williamsport. 554 is a nice drive.." havn't had the bike on it YET" Its across Market Street Bridge headed south on Rt 15, Istead of bearing left at the top of the hill, go straight. it takes you up and over the mountain, on a twisty switchback road that ends up in Elimsport, West of rt 15 in Montgomery. Nice ride, just watch for gravel on the tight turns, cars like to cut corners and fling rocks everywhere. And a lot of the turns are slow hairpins. I'll probably give it a go one of these weekends. If you get there first let me know what you thought.

thank you sir for the reply. it's on the list. heading out to this place on a friday http://www.hondamuseum.com/ and then a ride south to gettysburg and was thinking of taking 554 over the mountians

When are you planning to head forwards Gettysburg? You'll be in my area. :thumbup:

sometime around the end of june, we will leave here (northeast PA) on a friday and stay overnight in the gettysburg area. ride around the battlefield on saturday and head north, or maybe east to warminster.

That sounds like a nice ride. I'll be doing the BullDog ride the end of June... Can't do both:dontknow:

did you ever make it to Bob Logues here in Williamsport? It is only a few blocks from my house and has a lot of nice and old Hondas. I drive by every morning on my way to work, and since getting my X I have a mental invintory of his showroom. LOL I'm just waiting for him to get something. New to look at,but I enjoy looking at the same old stuff there anyways. Take care.

not yet. i'm planning on stopping there on june 26th on the way to gettysburg
