Made the run to Beaumount this morning. It was overcast when I left and a cool 70 degrees wore my leathers and glad I did hit a pretty good shower just a few miles out. There were a couple hundred bikes I would guess and a few airplanes coming and going. The planes taxi down the main street and park to eat breakfast and then fly out. The Hotel breakfast bar was packed with bikers and pilots inside and out. Left just in time to drive through a hard downpour for about 8 miles, but the rest of the ride home was dry.

What weekend of the month do folks go to Beaumount?? I just got my 2003 VTX 1800 and we are looking for places to go. We went to Cassoday on the first of August and really enjoyed the day. We are looking forward to goint to Beaumount in the near future. If you have knowledge of other places to go in the area we would appreciate any info on them as well.
Thanks

8) Cassoday 1st Sunday of the month, Beaumount 2nd Sunday, Cottonwood Falls/ Bucklin 3rd Sunday and Eureka 4th Sunday of each month during the riding season. I always make it to Cassoday and sometimes to Beaumont havn't made any of the others. A good place to see most of the events for bikers in Kansas go to www.highwayharvesters.org/UPVENT.html (http://www.highwayharvesters.org/UPVENT.html) they show most events two or three month in advance. Maybe I'll see you at Cassoday sometime Black Retro 1800 with a lot of chrome and studs.
