Bikers for Babies Rally

I posted this on the MoKan site also, but I want to cover all the bases.

First, I just wanted to get updated on the BFB rally on September 12 in KC. Is this an "offical" VTX run, ie is anyone getting together like last year? Is JB still having a get together Saturday evening? I almost have the Mrs convinced to attend. Still not sure if she'll be on her bike or mine.

Second, is anyone planning on another Cassoday run in September of October? The weather will be a big factor I know, but I want to make one more trip this year.

Lastly, anyone headed up to Sturgis this weekend? I'll be there just for the weekend, but there is a small group of VTXers getting together on Saturday.

I will be headed to Cassoday before the year is over (first time to go for me). Haven't heard anything about the BFB, but would love to get a chance to ride with others...

8) Sacrecrow, I be at Cassoday for sure have only missed it once this year. Don't know about the BFB run KC is a pretty long way that time of year. You planning on making the Ft. Scott run? I know you were planning on Sturgis this year if you get back in time and are up to it maybe we will see you at Ft. Scott.

I'm headed to Sturgis this weekend (13 thru 15). When is the Ft Scott ride? And (yep, I'm not a native) where is Ft Scott?

Scarecrow the Ft. Scott ride is being put on bythe Mo-Kan riders. Charlie ( potatoes) is getting a group ride leaving the KC area on the 22 of Aug. Ft. Scott is straight south of KC proper about 100 miles. I'll be coming up from Winfield ( just south-east of witchta ) to meet the group at Ft. Scott. Trying to find some other X'ers to meet up along the way should be a nice ride. Charlie hasn't finalize the plans yet I believe J3B is going to make a run on the 15th to pick a route. I looking forward to meeting some of my fellow riders from MO-Kanxriders this will be good place to meet as it is half way between here and KC. Have fun on your strugis trip and be safe.

Me and the wife plan on hitting Cassoday in September, and maybe October, too. Heck, I'd even do November and December but she gets cold...

BFB is a definite go. A few more details (who, when, where) to facilitate planning and we would jump on the chance to ride that one.

I definitely will not make the Ft Scott run. I am guessing it would be 6 hours each way for me. Too far for a one day trip.

The BFB rally is on September 12th in KC at the Kansas Speedway (http://www.marchofdimeskc.org/biker/). There may be a get together Saturday evening, but plans are not set. We'll try and meet before the rally on Sunday as well. Details to follow. BTW, where are you located?

CC, I can't make the KC run, but am at Cassoday just about every month....I am north of ya, well hell you know where Mulvanes at....lol I could meet you at the Douglas store (Wayman Bro's) on 77 or at Sav A Trip here in Mulvane, (K-15 and Rock)...you name it and we can do it.
